Is this invoice generator really free?
Yes — completely free, with no signup, no email required, no credit card, and no watermarks. Generate as many invoices as you need. Optional account at the end is only if you want to save invoices and track when they get paid.
Will the PDF look professional?
Yes. Pick one of 5 templates (Modern, Classic, Bold, Compact, Executive). Each is designed for freelancers and agencies and renders identically on Mac, Windows, and mobile PDF viewers — the same templates power our paid customers' invoices.
Does it support VAT, GST, and tax-exempt invoices?
Yes. Each line item supports its own tax rate (e.g. 20% UK VAT, 10% AU GST, 0% for tax-free services). For EU/UK B2B invoices you can also enable reverse-charge mode, which renders the legally required note and zeroes out the tax.
Where is my data stored?
In your browser only. We don't transmit your invoice data to any server — the PDF is built locally with JavaScript. Your draft is auto-saved to your browser's localStorage so a refresh won't lose your work, but nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly create an account to save and send.
Can I customize the colors and add my logo?
Brand color is supported via the optional accent picker. Logo upload, e-signatures, recurring schedules, automated payment reminders, and a public client portal where customers can pay are part of the free Invoice Tracker account — sign up at the end of the form to unlock them.
